Farmina Pet Foods is the leading Italian manufacturer of cat & dog food. The pet food is produced on three own factories: Italy, Serbia and Brazil. In Russia, the company started its activity in October 2012.

The story of Farmina began in 1965, when Dr. Francesco Russo founded Russo Feed, a company specializing in the feed industry.

In 1999, Francesco’s son, Dr. Angelo Russo, joined his father’s company and, realizing the potential of the pet food market, decided to grow actively in this segment.

During this period, Mr. A. Russo started to work with Farmina Pet Foods, established in Ingatestone (United Kingdom), obtaining know-how in the production of dry pet food.

Farmina Pet Food suppliers are present in 40 countries: in Europe (22 distributors), Africa (4 distributors), South America (13 distributors), in the USA and in Russia.
